On-page SEO is the process of optimizing all elements on websites to increase traffic from search engines.
The difference between On-page SEO and SEO as a whole is that we're focusing on the internal elements of your websites like content and internal link.
Checklist is currently being updated.
Ensure your page has proper meta title
Keep your meta title between 50-70 characters for optimal display.
Ensure your page has only one unique meta title.
Each page should have only one unique title tag that accurately describes its content.
The title should be relevant to the page and ideally include your target keyword.
Check for duplicate titles: Review the source code of your pages to identify any duplicate title tags. Look for <title>
and note any duplicates.
Remove or edit duplicate titles: If you find any tags that are not relevant to the main topic, consider removing them from your theme.
Get assistance: If you're unsure how to handle duplicate titles properly, please contact us. We can help check for duplicates and provide you with appropriate solutions, or directly assist in removing unnecessary titles.
Ensure your page has proper meta description
Ensure each page has only one H1
A. Missing H1 tag
Usually, the title page acts as the H1 tag. If you've set a title but still receive a "missing H1 tag" warning, this likely means your theme’s default setup hasn’t applied the title as an H1 tag.
In this case, please contact us so we can help resolve the issue and give you the best solution.
B. More than one H1 tag
If your page has a title and you see the "you should only use one H1 tag" warning, it means there’s an extra H1 tag somewhere on the page.
This can be caused by your theme or additional content.

Ensure you include internal link in the content

Consider include outbound links in the content
Ensure your outbound links point to reliable, high-quality websites that are relevant to your content
Don’t overdo it: 1-3 outbound links per page are usually sufficient
Use descriptive anchor text that accurately describes the linked content
Add outbound link to your content
Identify the URLs/related articles you want to link to
Select a relevant anchor text that fits naturally into your content
Insert link to the text (as image below)
Ensure your external links are natural and not overused to avoid keyword stuffing.
Outbound links are not really necessary in all cases, they are mainly effective when you use them in blog posts, you can consider skipping them if you feel they are not necessary.
👍 Best practices for URL:
Include your target keyword in the URL
Keep the URL slug between 2-5 words and under 80 characters for simplicity and readability
Avoid using too many stop words (such as "and", "the", "or")
URL character count should be under 250
Main keyword is the keyword that your page content aim at.
It is telling search engines that “This is what this page is about.”
It depends on your SEO strategy. You can use our Keyword research tool to find out your keywords.
You can add only one main keyword. If you want to add more keywords, use our Keyword research.
Shorter keywords are generally easier to optimize for and more likely to match user queries.
Focus on keywords with 1-4 words. If using longer phrases, consider breaking them into shorter, related keywords.
Understanding keyword density is crucial for balanced SEO.
Too low, and search engines might not recognize your page's focus; too high, and it could be seen as keyword stuffing.
Aim to use your keyword naturally throughout your content, 1 - 1.5% keyword density, including in headings, the first paragraph, and the conclusion.
Search engines also recognize synonyms and related terms. Vary your language to keep the content engaging for readers while still maintaining relevance.
In Onpage audit, go to "Keyword density" -> Click View details and check your keyword density.
If the SEO checklist shows that your keyword density isn't within the 1-1.5% range, but you believe your keyword usage is appropriate, you might consider the following:
Assess Context: Check if the content still flows naturally and provides value to readers. Sometimes, strict adherence to keyword density isn’t as crucial as overall content quality and relevance.
Consider Flexibility: Keyword density guidelines are just one part of SEO. If your content is engaging and relevant, slight deviations from recommended densities can be acceptable.
Including your main keyword in the URL keeps the relevance to search engines and users. Also it helps boosts keyword ranking.
Edit your page URL to naturally include the main keyword, ensuring it remains readable and concise.
Using keywords in subheadings keeps the relevance to search engines and users. Also it helps boosts keyword ranking.
Add your main keyword to at least one subheading (H2, H3, etc.) where it fits naturally within your content structure.

Related keywords are terms that revolve around your main keyword, providing additional context and relevance to your content.

For example: If your main keyword is "running shoes," related keywords might include "best running shoes," "comfortable running shoes," and "running shoes for flat feet."
Include related keywords in your content at 0.5-1% density.
Your content should include 2-3 related keywords that align with the main topic.
Text length refers to the total number of words in your content.
You should aim for at least 600 words to provide value and rank well in search results.
Imagine your visitors jump to your page and see absolutely nothing there. You can think of how high bounce rate is (or disappoint rate).
The longer the text, the more often your keywords will appear in it. The more content there is, the more value it can give to users.
Feel free to ignore this warning if you believe the current length of your content adequately meets your audience’s
